About Us

Dr. Carl biscontini, PT, DPT, Cscs, cgfi, CKTP, cert dn

Carl Biscontini, PT, DPT, CSCS, CGFI, Cert DN is the owner and operator of Biscontini Therapy & Wellness. Carl is originally from North-Eastern Pennsylvania. There he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology with a Concentration on Strength and Conditioning from East Stroudsburg University, and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University. Carl  holds certifications by Spinal Manipulation Institute in Dry Needling, Titleist Performance Institute as a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor, Advanced Certified Kinesiology Taping Practioner through RockTape, and a Certified Functional Movement Screen Administrator. He is currently continuing his education in pursuing his advance certification in Sports & Orthopedic Manual Therapy (CSOMT). Carl currently is currently a contract faculty member at Pima Medical Institute’s BSPTA progrmam instructing the Evidence Based Practice and Clinical Kinesiology courses. Carl also is an adjunct faculty member at Park University in their Fitness & Wellness program.

Working with pediatrics to professional athletes (Major League baseball, National Football League, National Basketball Association, PGA Tour, Web.com Tour), Carl enjoys helping patients by integrating corrective functional strategies in conjunction with evaluating the body as a whole (Mind, Body, and Soul) to help identify the root cause of the problem, not just the pain. 

Carl resides in Gilbert, enjoys playing golf, watching any sporting event, and spending time with his family and dogs, Humphrey Bogart and Luca.
